Diabetes worldwide is becoming a major issue with large numbers of individuals being diagnosed yearly and many living in a pre-diabetic state. In the US alone 28.5 million people are living with diabetes, that is a shocking 8.3% of the population and in addition there are 1.9 million new cases diagnosed every year and at least 7 million un-diagnosed with another 79 million being pre-diabetic.
